Postdoctoral Fellowship
Postdoctoral fellowships are available for highly-motivated individuals interested in investigating the roles of cell-mediated matrix turnover pathways in regulating tissue fibrosis or the roles that integrins and the extracellular matrix play in regulating whole body metabolic homeostasis, fatty acid trafficking, and insulin sensitivity. The ideal applicant will hold a MD/PhD, PhD, or MD, with expertise in cell culture and animal models of development and disease. A solid background in molecular biology is required. He/she will be expected to design and perform experiments, critically analyze data, and assume primary responsibility for writing and publishing scientific results. Excellent organizational and communication skills are prerequisites.
